Using your MyID to log onto Zoom ~ UGA eLC

What is the best way to get to UGA DegreeWorks?
https://degreeworks.uga.edu is the URL for DegreeWorks. DegreeWorks produces degree compliance audits based on a student’s major/concentration. On a nightly basis, data is taken from the Student Information System and entered into DegreeWorks.
Grades
Students can see their grades at any moment during the course’s duration.
UGAMail
UGAMail, the University’s email service powered by Microsoft Office 365, is available to all UGA faculty, staff, and students. UGAMail can be accessed via the web, the UGA Mobile App, or by configuring a desktop client or mobile app to access your account. Please use your full email address to log in. Your password is the same as the password for your MyID account. If you’re not on campus, you’ll need to use ArchPass, which is powered by Duo.
You can change your email address and have your UGAMail forwarded to a third-party account like Gmail.
Administrative services, like payroll, send official email correspondence to faculty and staff solely to UGAMail accounts.

UGA eLC is a new online learning management system at the University of Georgia. UGA eLC is a course management system that assists educators in developing online courses and increasing student involvement.
UGA A classroom, assignments, forums, wikis, and chat are just a few of the services available on eLC. Numerous other elements make the UGA eLC a valuable tool for instructors.
D2L (the firm that delivers eLC) and Brightspace (what D2L refers to as the product version) are other names for it.
eLC can be viewed as a massive database that saves and tracks coursework information.
Anyone with a valid UGA MyID password can access eLC from a computer or a mobile device.
To access elc at uga, go to http://elc.uga.edu/.
1. Visit elc.uga.edu.
2. Select “UGA MyID Login” from the drop-down menu
3. On the log-in page, type your login.
4. Enter your password next.
5. Click the Login option to sign in.
Use your MyID and password to log in. uga.view.usg.edu is now the new URL. eLC, the UGA instance of Virtual Instruction Enterprise-
Wide within the University System of Georgia, is situated at uga.view.usg.edu, according to this address.
The Mini Bar, Navigation Bar, and Widgets are all standard for UGA users on my Home page.
Most campus apps use UGA Single Sign-On, or UGA SSO, as a single-sign authentication system.
UGA SSO improves authentication relationships, increases security, and allows online applications to implement two-factor authentication.
eLC is a FERPA-compliant platform that enables UGA (Athena) courses to host classroom content and activities in a digital learning environment.
UGA eLC can be used to store and share papers, make quizzes and engage students in online discussions, provide audio and video resources, and send out course notifications, among other things.
It’s highly adaptable, allowing educators to tailor course content and experiences to their preferences.
How can I search for courses on the uga eLC?
Your uga eLC homepage should show you the courses you are enrolled in. These courses can be “pinned” to your course listing, making them visible on your homepage and in the Courses Menu.
To see your current and most recent courses, go to the Waffle Icon at the top of your screen. The courses that have been pinned will be listed first, followed by the most recent.
To see all of the courses, go to View All Courses. A search bar will appear on the screen.
If a student receives an “Error: Not Authorized” warning when attempting to access their eLC email, they should first check to see if they are taking a quiz.
At the top, click the envelope.
You might get a notice telling you that you need to finish a quiz. If this occurs, go return to the quiz and double-check that it was submitted after you finished it. Emails cannot be sent via eLC during a quiz.
Please contact your instructor if you are unable to access the quiz after it has closed. To report that you have not taken a quiz, contact EITS or D2L.
Students can receive email and/or SMS messages when goods are added to the UGA eLC.
Notifications from instructors on the course homepage, approaching due dates for assignments, and postings to the discussion board are all regular.
Click on Notifications under your name in the upper right corner of the UGA eLC homepage.

The University of Georgia Students, teachers, and staff at UGA utilize MyID as their sign-on name to access a variety of online services. Each MyID is connected with a password that must be entered while using these services.
During the admissions process, new students were given a MyID. This MyID notification was sent to the email address provided during their admissions application.
