The PlayStation 5 (PS5) is a Sony Interactive Entertainment home video game console. The month of April saw a lot of Playstation 5restocking, but May has been very quiet. However, thanks to Matt Swider, we now know that GameStop will have an in-store PS5 restock this weekend (Saturday, May 28) In addition, on June 2, Walmart will perform a Playstation 5 restock.
Make sure you’re signed up for Walmart Plus ahead of time because the drop will be restricted to Walmart Plus subscribers.

Unfortunately, scalpers are one of the main causes of the PS5 console shortage. When the PS5 becomes available, these opportunistic people use bots to search merchants for stock and buy as many of the consoles as they can in one go.
They will then sell the console for exorbitant amounts, frequently in the thousands of dollars, once they get it. According to Business Insider (opens in new tab), one reseller was able to obtain 200 Playstation 5 systems and sell them for more than $40,000.
While this isn’t unlawful, it isn’t the most morally good decision.
At the very least, it’s not as awful as some people who have pretended to sell Playstation 5 consoles on eBay by just posting photographs of them and tricking people into bidding on them when there was none available.
