- A veteran must be a member of the Navy Federal Credit Union (NFCU) to be eligible for membership.
- Members must be currently a member of the armed forces, the Department of Defense, or the National Guard, or have a family member who is a member of Navy Federal.

- Active-duty, reservists, veterans, retirees, and annuitants of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard are eligible to apply.

- People employed by the Department of Defense (DoD).
- Staff of the United States government assigned to DoD facilities.
