With your NCEdCloud account, you’ll be able to access all of the Home Base products with only one sign-in. The use of the NCEdCloud Identity and Access Management, or IAM Service, to log in to PowerSchool, Schoolnet, NCEES, True North Logic, and Open Class has been streamlined.
NCEdCloud will allow a single login account for teachers, students, and staff to access any or all Home Base applications. If you’re not used to it, DPS is a good place to start. Then, before you can access the home Base products, you must first claim this portal account. You can look it up on the internet.

Passwords should not be kept or remembered, nor should the NCEdCloud or PowerSchool be bookmarked. Whether or whether it allowed a previous login, could cause issues.
Suggestions:
1. Delete all bookmarks and saved passwords associated with NCEdCloud and PowerSchool.
2. Use a different browser for email and other webpage tabs that you’d like to keep open.
What is NCEdCloud?
The NCEdCloud was designed as a secure and private single-sign-on platform. The state’s goal for this single-sign-on platform is to create a place where teachers and students can go to access frequently accessed websites. Students and teachers will no longer have to remember several identities and passwords, nor will they have to bookmark websites to find them.
The North Carolina Education Cloud, or NCEdCloud, might be a service delivery platform for modern instructional and administrative support systems, with the infrastructure, tools, and resources to support all NC Race to the Top (RttT) projects.
Rather than developing new systems, the NCEdCloud login system has taken a more collaborative approach to facilitate shared services through collaborative procurements, statewide pay-for-use licensing agreements, and shared support models.
In addition, one of the NCEdCloud initiatives is Identity and Access Management Services. It is also given as part of a contract with Identity Automation (IdAuto). IdAuto is a company that provides identity, data, and access management services and is situated in Houston, Texas.
